The core gameplay operates on a symbiotic loop between your developing town and the heroes it attracts. Your primary tool is the construction and combination of facilities. A strategically placed inn between the town square and the guild hall increases resident happiness and attracts higher-level heroes. You don't directly control these adventurers in combat; instead, you equip them, assign them to parties, and dispatch them on expeditions into the surrounding wilds, dungeons, and caves. Their success in battle, driven by the gear and items crafted in your town, yields precious materials and loot, which in turn fuels further town expansion and new research.
